Scot is a licensed and certified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has extensive knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine and has trained in many traditional and modern styles of acupuncture.

He incorporates functional medicine as well as nutrition and lifestyle counseling into his practice and strongly believes that healing is a process in which the patient must take an active role. Scot constantly continues his training and education so that he can provide the very best care for his patients.

Scot received his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from The Academy of Oriental Medicine (AOMA) in Austin in 2000 and has been practicing in San Antonio, Texas since 2001.

Karyn Moore, L.Ac.

Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture

Karyn received her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in 2011. Prior to pursuing her degree in Chinese medicine, Karyn worked as a licensed massage therapist for 15 years. The vast experience and knowledge of anatomy that she acquired working hands on with her massage clients make her a truly gifted acupuncturist.

Karyn believes that Traditional Chinese medicine, or TCM, is an important component of healthcare which provides us with greater treatment options. She is passionate about TCM because she believes it offers us the tools and knowledge as well as the strength to empower our own healing process and help bring balance to our lives.
